F-106A 59-0069 in 2003 painted as 186th FIS jet 57-2463 on static display at Great Falls, Montana. This is Duane Cassidy who flew Open Class R/C Gliders in competition during the 2003 time frame and won the Northwestsoaringsociety point's championship that year.


As for the airframe, after leaving the Griffiss AFB display location where it retained it's authentic 59-0069 tail number, It was repainted to 57-2463 to reflect the 186th FIS of Great Falls, MT. Later, sometime after this photo was taken but before Jun 2005, it was again repainted as another 186th FIS tail 57-2492.
