The old 84th FIS Alert Barns filled with 186th FIS Montana Air Guard F-106's who where the first designated unit to to pick up the alert commitment during the 84th shutdown. But, they used it as an excuse to arrive enmass and party causing so much trouble on and off base that ADTAC had the Guard Bureau yank them out after only a few weeks and called in the 318th to take it over.
