F-106A 56-0451 in its 1st display paint version at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This first version of display colors of 56-0451 at Wright-Patterson as it had arrived March 1960 from Edwards AFB CA, still in AFFTC test colors. It still had F-102 "FC" buzz number on the fuselage. Wing fences had previously been removed. Old version of J-75 engine still installed. [Scanned from Wings of Fame, Volume 12]
