Active air defense scramble: 95 FIS F-106 flown by Maj. John Eckhart intercepts an TWA Airlines hijacked airliner headed for Cuba ca. 1969 Photo was taken by Capt. Tom Koss. 95th C-Flight pilots. The intercept was handed off somewhere around North Carolina to another flight and the pilots RTB'd (returned to base) back to Dover.
