Nose Art of F-106A 59-0087 of the 11 FIS, Duluth Air Base, MN in 1960 with it's pilot Chuck Lehman. 59-0087 unfortunately didn't last long, crashing on 11 Sep 1961 at Minot AFB ND. Lt Win E. DePorter ejected and survived. Unfortunately, this all occurred before Chuck Lehman even had a chance to fly the plane with his name on it. Even though this is only the nose of 59-0087, it is a very rare shot, because we have not found any other photos of this bird during its short history.
