F-106A 58-0774 painted in the 1960's 456th FIS color scheme (no yellow tail flash) of Castle AFB, CA here during the museum roll-out display at Hill Air Museum in Utah in June 2004. The 456th FIS was the first assignment for this aircraft when it was delivered from the Convair assembly plant. Alumni of the 456th donated money for the paint and decals. The museum decided that they wanted to display it as it would have looked fresh out of depot. [Pat Perry collection]
