MA-1 Crazy Nose Trainer used at Lowry in the Teach school. This trainer was in the end room with an FDT over the antenna most of the time. It had a hot transmitter - we could lock on and track outside targets going into Stapleton airport. This trainer got the new solid state receiver mod, The last mod we did on the trainers was to add the heads up display which this trainer also has. These pics were taken just before we dismantled the trainer to send it to Wright Patt for the museum. As of 2013 - that trainer is not on display anywhere at the W-P museum.
