F-106A 59-0088, 59-0094, 59-0090 and others of the 11 FIS Duluth, MN during a Change of Command ceremony in Aug 1963. The commander at the SAGE unit was Col. Thyng and he had been promoted to BG and then was replaced. Frank Doerr is the guy in white coveralls on the left (representing the avionics crew chief), and the guy on the right is Herm Rowe (representing the maintenance crew chief). They flew in the Air Force band for this event and we all paraded for review behind the band as they played "Won't You Come Home, Bill Baily". [via Frank Doerr]
