F-106's of the 11th FIS Duluth MN in a 16-ship flyby formation during a change of command ceremony in Aug 1963. The commander at the SAGE unit was Col. Thyng and he had been promoted to BG and then was replaced. They flew in the Air Force band for this event and we all paraded for review behind the band as they played "Won't You Come Home, Bill Baily". [via Frank Doerr]
