F-106A of the 539 FIS McGuire AFB, NJ and a McDonnell F-4 Phantom that were on display at the 1965 Lincoln Airshow. Both aircraft have piulots inside. The F-106 appears to have its engine running so this must be after the airshow was over and they were preparing to depart.

This photo looks west-northwest and something you'll not see today from this vantage point is Lincoln AFB Base Operations on the far left. nor the 95 foot tall control tower. The base crash station, today a part of Duncan Aviation, sits directly behind the F-4's tail in this photo. Thanks for the info from Paul Hutchins.
