F-106A 58-0786 sits awaiting restoration in the Mohave desert for static display at the California Science Center. This is one of the El Paso Sixes. on 7 Apr 2000 it departed Tyndall AFB by truck to El Paso TX (Private Owner) where it sat until 9 Nov 15 when the California Science Center picked it up for restoration. As of 22 Mar 2016 it sadly will not be any restoration progress for a while. The Six is safely in storage at Mojave until the California Science Center gets the new building built, which is still a couple of years out.
