F-106A 57-0231 of the 87 FIS Red Bulls KI Sawyer AFB, MI during an in-flight refuel off a KC-97L tanker. This photo is after 1968 when 57-0231 arrived at the 87th and prior to 1976 when 231 became Toro 1 with the 3 command stripes. And the KC-97s were retired in 1978.
