F-106A of the 71 FIS, Malmstrom AFB at an airshow at Richards Gebaur AFB in 1967 with a C-124 sitting off to the right.

Skip Anderson writes "As a young Lt., I was assigned to set up the static display [at this 1967 R-G airshow]. It was an airshow featuring the Thunderbirds. Those C-124's I would fly often on weekends to see my girlfriend (now wife) in the Chicago area. They would fly a circle route to numerous bases/airports picking up and returning weekend reservists. "Old Shakey" was an experience! An interesting footnote, a week after this airshow, the Thunderbirds lost an F-100 in the finale "bomb-burst" when the pilot had to punch out as he was spiraling up through the "burst" in a Texas airshow."
