26 F-106s were assigned the 101st FIS, 102nd FIG, Otis AFB MA ANG 28 Apr 72 - 10
Feb 88.
The 101st was redesigned from 101st FS to 101st FIS, and converted from F-100D/Fs to the F-106, in Spring 1972. On December 31, 1973, Otis AFB inactivated and was transferred to the MA ANG as Otis ANGB. Following ADC inactivation the 101st became
a TAC asset on April 1, 1980. It completed conversion to the F-15A/Bs in April 1988.
