Not an F-106, but related to your webmasters F-106 days as an Alert Crew Chief in the 318th Det 1, Castle AFB, CA. I'm not sure who started this project, but I helped build up this fiberglass F-15 model in 1982/83 in Bay4 of the Alert Barn, which was our supply/drag chute packing/storage/everything bay. Here it is in these photos in 2009 being restored at the Castle Air Museum. [Ralph Robledo collection]
