F-106A 59-0123 was acquired in 1992 and trucked to the Museum of Aviation, Warner-Robins AFB, GA for display in 1992 and painted in 48th FIS colors of Langley AFB, VA. On 5 Jun 2000, Larry writes that while assigned to the 48FIS in 1978 this aircraft 59-0123 was nicknamed "Patience". May 2011: 59-0123 moved inside the Museum of Aviation. June 2010: David Cloninger reports in Sept 2010 that F-106A 59-0123 will be moved to a new display location. 05 Jun 2005: Restoration completed and moved on 12 May 2005 to the Museum of Aviation. 9 Feb 2005: Per an e-mail from Dennis Oliver, Chief of Restoration, 59-0123 is in the paint barn. 26 Aug 2004: Dennis Oliver, Chief of Restoration, 59-0123 has been "depainted" and in late Sep 2004 will be repainted in the 48th FIS Langley AFB VA markings. 30 Jul 2004: Wally Tennyson reports on the guestbook 59-0123 has been moved from the fenced area behind the Georgia Museum of Aviation to the refurbishment area on the Georgia ANG ramp. 12 Apr 2004: Mr. Paul Hibbitts, Museum Director, emailed that 59-0123 has experienced some moving delays but will soon be on track for restoration. 16 Oct 2003: Mr. Paul Hibbitts, Museum Director, emailed 59-0123 will be moved to the flightline in December 2003 and as soon as a paint scheme is finalized will inform me for posting to this site. 19 Mar 2003: Scheduled for restoration in the first quarter of 2004
