F-106A 57-2492 of the 186 FIS Montana ANG Great Falls MT, and F-106A 59-0136 and 59-0153 of the 49 FIS Griffess AFB Rome NY while at Tyndall AFB during Copper Flag, Feb 1985 with a AN/DLQ-3 ECM pod on the left pylon. Dick Stultz coined this the “EF-106” in a drawing he gave the crew chief Darrell Anderson before departing back to Montana via commercial air.
