Modeling Flashback from the Past! For the Modeler's, out there. Revell "S" Kit and "Whip Fly" Kits sized at 1/67 or 1/71, close to 1/72 scale kits of the F-106A 56-0453. These were the very first kits released of the F-106A, H-298 "S" Kit is at left, released in 1958 and H159-129 "Whip Fly It" Kit at right, released in 1961. With patient detailing work, these could still be transformed into outstanding Representations of the F-106A. Mr. Bert Kinzey of Detail & Scale, very many years ago did a build of the H-298 "S" Kit and the results were Outstanding! [Courtesy of Robert Wegeman]
