Drone QF-106 Conversion by AEL Industries, American Electronic Laboratories, in East Alton, IL

Photo of F-106A 57-2475 and two other F-106's being converted to drones. The rear aircraft 57-2475 left AMARC for AEL on 29 Jun 92 and arrived at Holloman AFB NM on 21 Sept 92 as QF-106 drone S/N AD203. It was command destroyed on its second NULLO on 02 Oct 96 over White Sands Missile Range as it was out of ground control and was flying straight up. Photo via Rollan Yocum.
