F-106A 59-0059 of the 5th FIS, Minot ND prepared to fly to TFSI, Mojave CA to be converted to a QF-106A. It is Valentines Day 1987 and my {Michael Baldock} first MASDC Photographer's Tour. Last one from the processing in ramp and, sadly, not a great photo. A shame, she is an F-106A Delta Dart 59-0059 pcn FN 022 last operated by the 5th FIS (nicknamed "Spitten Kittens") and retired to store in December 1983. Here she was being prepared to fly to TFSI, Mojave CA to be converted to a QF-106A as 'AD105'. She crashed on landing on the 6th July 1990, she was manned and her pilot ejected safely.
