The 48th FIS "TAZ", TAZLANGLIAN DEVIL with the 48's Deputy Commander for Maintenance Secretary Ms. Walda Patton in an Interceptor Magazine article as Miss Interceptor" for the July and August issues in 1979. Walda is remembered to have worked for Lt. Col. Mathis, Lt.Col. Sprague, and Lt. Col. Breault.

I ran into Walda Patton at Langley circa 2000. She went on to become a contracting officer and when I met up with her she was in charge of all the training contracts for the Air Combat Command. She has since retired and still resides in Hampton, VA.
