Tail fins in closed position, cords holding fins closed, on a AIR-2A or ATR-2A Rocket tail section with fins closed by cord that held the fins shut. These cords that held the fins and flaps closed were made of braided nylon line. The photo also shows the lexan weather seal that was epoxied into the nozzle throat. It protected the butadiene propellant from the elements.
