19 Apr 2015: Missile Bay doors on F-106A 59-0010 on static display at the Aerospace Museum of California, McClellan, CA. 59-0010 was a Gun bird. General Electric Vulcan M61A1 20MM Cannon on F-106 Delta Dart required modified portion of the missile bay doors with cooling scoops These scoops provided cooling air for the gun system when fitted.
