MSgt Black, SSgt Mogavero, TSgt Willis that I can remember. 31 Dec 1983

The 194th was sitting in for the 318th FIS while we transitioned over to the F-15's, which are sitting in the alert barn as this photo is taken. Larry Mogavero and myself Patrick McGee were the last 2 F-106 Alert Crew Chiefs at the Det. photo by Patrick McGee

The 194th came up from Fresno a few months before the F-106 Alert Close-out of the 318th FIS Det 1 at Castle AFB, CA that occurred on 31 Dec 1983. The last of the 318th jets left Castle in prep for the 318th's conversion to F-15's. Our 318th alert crews (me) remained, but we worked with the 194th jets and their backshop mechanics when necessary. On 31 Dec 1983 the alert duties were officially taken over by the 318th FIS's newly acquired F-15's
