I started my crew chief career at K.I. Sawyer with the 87 FIS and the 87 FIS DET 1 in Charleston AFB. I was also one of the first A1Cs to be placed in the MACC (Maintenance Control Center). I then was stationed at Shaw AFB crewing F-16s where I was part of the F-16 Demo team for 4 years traveling all over the US and Canada performing at air shows. Then to Kunsan Korea for a year, back to Shaw. Next I cross trained into computer programming and was sent to Keesler for 3 months for training. Now off to Kelly AFB, San Antonio, TX to work at the Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team (AFCERT). Back to Shaw AFB to work at the 609th Information Warfare Squadron (IWS), and then retirement.
