MA-1 mock-up at the 460th working mids most of my time there. After my enlistment was up I transferred to the 102nd working MA-1 mock-up and then flight line. I was promoted to MSgt prior to taking a commission as Maintenance Officer. I served as an Avionics Officer, Weapons Officer, Weapons Safety Officer and Maintenance Control Officer. Transitioned to thr F-15 and retired as a Major.

It was very bittersweet that as a part of my civilian job I flew a demonstration of a missile warning system on a QF-106. It was sad to see aircraft I worked on painted with orange tails. The plane I had my equipment on was lost on a mission over the Gulf.
