This Apr 2013 photo is the vertical tail and partial rudder off of F-106A 59-0115 found and purchased by Kevin Kennedy sometime around 2010/11 during a trip to Arizona. The TAC Badge and green wing feathers of the 49th's Eagle are still present. Sadly, when the tail was cut off, it was allowed to just fall over, striking the ground and breaking the fiber-glass top edge a bit, but, other than that, it is in remarkably good shape. There were only two 49th FIS Delta Darts in a group of several 106s that were sent to the Gila Bend range as targets, 59-0115 being one of them, so this is a nice find as a collector.
