Keith Snyder, 23 May 2005: These are all of the Darts that attended in 1986. None competed. They were used as visual ID targets during some of the profiles. The birds with the solid color temporary markings were all 159th FIS "Fang" jets. I do not know why the NJ birds, or the one FANG bird were not done in this manner. The markings were some kind of press on material that was just pulled off after the meet. 70 TFS F-4Es and 388 TFW F-16As also served as targets. The F-4s carried normal Euro 1 camo, but the HL 16s had the same style temporary markings applied as the Darts. Keith Snyder, Dallas, TX.
