F-106A 59-0101, 87th FIS KI Sawyer AFB MI, winter 1972 with Billy Marshall on the right side (legs showing) checking oil. 57-0101 crashed shortly after coming out of Phase Dock (no we didn't do it). After the crash the pieces were brought back to our hanger. I still have the small emergency generator door from the aft left side of the fuselage from that crash. [Bill Marshall collection]
