F-106A 58-0789 assigned to the 73 Air Division,4756 ADW at Tyndall AFB FL in 1960. Notice the Buzz Code numbers of the fuselage which were removed in later years. And also the very early placement of the Tail Number low and forward on the vertical stab, another scheme that changed in later years. Anyone know what the red pylon is all about?
