35 F-106s were assigned the 329th FIS at George AFB CA from 29 Jul 60 to 09 Jun 67. The 329th FIS was discontinued on 31 Jul 67.
The 329th FIS was activated in August of 1955 at George AFB with F-86Ds.
In the spring ot 1957 it received F-86Ls and a year later transitioned into F-l02As In
July 1960 the unit began flying F-l06As. The 329th was deactivated on 31 July 1967.
